August 11: Officer Retreat
At our first meeting of the year, we planned the 5 upcoming meetings. We finalized our personalized invitations for our Kick-Off Meeting, and we planned the icebreakers, food, and agenda for the Kick-Off Meeting. We also took Officer Team Photos. We filed papers from last year for future reference. We ended with a team building exercise.

August 18: Kick-off Party
At this meeting, we introduced many new students to FCCLA. We started off the meeting with several ice breakers. Then during the meeting, we told the newer students what
FCCLA is and what kind of things we do. We also discussed with them about upcoming meetings. Then, we ended with a game to help everyone learn one another's name. |

October 6: True Colors Workshop
This meeting began like many others with discussion about upcoming events like the Walk to School and DLC. After that, We had a guest speaker from the University of Nebraska who taught about our True Colors. Each student figured out what color they were, and then they worked with students with the same color to list their characteristics on a paper.

October 22: District viii Leadership Conference
DLC was some members first experience of FCCLA away from home. Members got to hear Andy Hoffman talk about Team Jack. They also got to go to many interesting sessions. The chapter yearbook received first place, and the chapter scrapbook received third place. Katelyn Stewart,Crofton, and Austin Miller,Elgin, went on to represent District 8 as candidates for State Office.

October 28: Halloween safety with the Kindergardeners
Kalli Mueller, Marissa Schmidt, and Valerie Kaiser planned an activity for the Kindergarten class to promote Halloween Safety. They used coloring pages to make the activity fun, and ,of course, they had candy. Some other things they talked about were special reflective bags for candy,and caution when crossing the road,

December 1: Christmas Party
Our chapter christmas meeting began with food, and then we went straight into the meeting. Students were encouraged to were christmas sweaters, and festive clothing. At this meeting, we encouraged student to participate in Power of One, and gave updates about STAR and Katelyn running for State Office. After this, we began playing Christmas games, and Final Secret Snowflake gifts were handed out.

January 21: District STAR Competition
Over half of our chaper participated at Districs STAR Competion. Thomas Honeywell took the Parliamentary Procedure Test, Abbey Kast gave a Illustrated Talk on Human Trafficking, and Tracy Leader did a Promote and Publicize. The Parliamentary Procedure Team demonstrated proper Parliamentary Procedure. Everyone who participated qualified for SLC.

FCCLA Week: Feb. 8-Feb. 14
FCCLA Week lasts for a whole week. We had various activities planned for each day. On monday, we sold candy grams, did a Hot Hands activity, and started the Decorate your Door competition. On tuesday, we continued to sell candy grams, and had gym activities. On wednesday, students and faculty guessed how much candy was in a jar. Thursday we made and delivdered candy grams, and did a fundraiser for the Rainbow House in Omaha at the night's basketball game. Friday, we did a FCCLA trivia quiz.

March 16: FCCLA Fun Night
This Meeting was a time for members to relax before state. We started the meeting with information about SLC. We took a head count to see who was going, gave our some information, and then told people to watch for updates. Katelyn showed off her website, and allowed people to request things they'd like to see on it in the future. After dinner, Members worked together to try to build the tallest pasta tower, and win prizes in icebreakers. This meeting was a opportunity for members to bond before the end of the year.

April 12-14: State Leadership Conference
Many exciting things happened at SLC this year. We had several individuals participate in Power of One, many STAR competitors, and a State Officer candidate. The Parliamentary Procedure Team and Tracy Leader qualified for NLC this summer. Katelyn Stewart ran for State Office, and is now the State Vice-President of Public Relations. Mr. Anderson got an the National Administrator Award. Mrs. Anderson was recognized for her 35 years of service. Mrs Kueler received Honorary Membership. Students got to meet our new adviser, Ms. Abner for the first time.

April 21- May 1: Community Preschool
From April 21 to May 1, the Adult Living FACS class and the Crofton FCCLA Chapter help to plan and run a Community PreSchool. Throughout the two weeks, the preschoolers got to plan many learning games, and participate in many craft projects. This preschool ,which lasted 90 minutes per day, allowed Adult Living students to work with the preschoolers, and learn about healthy snacks and learning activities.

May 5: Parent/Member Banquet
At our chapter banquet, we recognized the members for all the things they do throughout the year. Students were given membership, STAR, Power of One, and Special Awards. Tracy Leader received the
Crofton FCCLA Scholarship. The new 2015-2016 Chapter Officers were installed. Mrs. Anderson said her good-bye speech, and several adults were recognized for all they do for our chapter. Students also got to meet our new chapter advisor for next year, Ms. Addie Abner. |

May 26-29: State Officer Leadership Academy
Katelyn Stewart from our chapter is the Nebraska Vice President of Public Relations. She and the rest of the State Officer Team attended the State Leadership Academy to plan the coming year and to learn skills on how to be a good state officer. Organizations such as FBLA, Skills USA, and FEA also attended this event.
